Dr. Michael (Mishel) Farasatpour is a board certified neurologist with a subspecialty in neurophysiology. He has a passion for providing precise care and determining exactly what is at the root of the neurological issue. He offers an integrated approach and works with you and your physicians to determine how best to serve you and how to heal the whole person. Dr. Farasatpour provides care to all patients with a myriad of neurological issues and diagnoses.

He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BS in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science as well as another BS in Biological Sciences. He had one of the highest number of units completed in the shortest amount of time on his graduation day in that school's history. He then worked as a database engineer. Dr. Farasatpour went on to medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine. On graduation he was awarded honors in both patient satisfaction as well as in research. He was able to use his database programming as well as statistical knowledge to complete several research papers. Dr. Farasatpour then went on to complete an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Neurology at the University of New Mexico. He also won accolades for both research as well as patient and staff satisfaction. Dr. Farasatpour then went on to complete a fellowship in Neurophysiology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Since then he has a large body of experience both in the inpatient as well as the outpatient setting and is looking forward to serving his community.
